Offering Dental Care Without Anesthesia To Dogs And Cats In Miami Florida
Wuppi, 12 years old Russian Bolonka, got his teeth cleaned today anesthesia free. Miami Natural Pet Care came to see him in his beautiful appartment at the Condominium on South Beach. He is a very well behaved patient. Suffering from seizures and old age, anesthesia is really not recommended for him and though he still needs to get the tatar and plaque off his teeth. Miami Natural Pet Care is very careful with him, making sure not to stress him out and giving him a lot of breaks in between teeth cleaning. His mom is also very happy she doesn’t have to take him to the vet because he hates the car and get car sick. So it is very convenient for them to get Miami Natural Pet Care to come by their place.
Please make an appointment with us, we travel all over Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Miami, Kendall, Miami Shores, El Portal, Brickell, Aventura…
Anesthesia-free pet dentistry has gained popularity over the last few years. The main factors driving this are the lower cost and the perceived risk of general anesthesia. This is true; Anesthesia-free pet dentistry is cheaper and has no anesthetic risk. It is hard to fault the owner for seeking treatment that is equal to what a veterinary clinic offers but costs less and is safer. Miami Natural Pet Care always recommend its clients to visit their veterinarian regularly for blood work and mouth xrays. Owners usually want the best for their pets. Regular dental cleanings are in the best interest of their pet’s dental hygiene to avoid gum recession and extraction. Of course anesthesia is highly recommended for severe dental disease and extraction.
Here is Cato and Chema, 2 schnauzers, who live in Coconut Grove. They got their teeth cleaned anesthesia free in the confort of their own bedroom.

These 2 beautiful and sweet cocker spaniels got their teeth cleaned with Miami Natural Pet Care 2 years ago. We were happy to see them again after a long time passed. Their teeth developed a lot of tartar and plaque and a lot was removed today. Scaling and polishing was performed and fresh breath is back 😃
Unfortunately both these cockers have developed kidney disease and putting them under anesthesia may cause more problems. That’s why their owner has been recontacting our services. Cleaning their teeth without anesthesia is the best way to go with them.

Just like human kidneys, your dog’s kidneys balance certain substances in the blood and filter out the body’s wastes as urine. They maintain normal concentrations of salt and water in the body. Kidneys also help control blood pressure, aid in calcium metabolism and sustain phosphorous levels. Additionally, they manufacture a hormone that encourages red-blood cell production. When kidneys don’t function properly, toxins build up in the blood and a dog will become ill.
What Causes Kidney Problems in Dogs?
Acute kidney failure is an abrupt decline in function that occurs over a period of days. Dogs can develop acute kidney problems as a result of ingesting toxins, including antifreeze, certain medications, tainted foods, etc. Other reasons for this type of kidney failure include decreased blood flow or oxygen delivery to the kidneys, infections and urinary obstruction.
While some kidney problems have an immediate cause that can be treated, chronic kidney disease shows up over a period of time and its causes are harder to determine. This condition develops slowly and affects mostly older dogs. It is often caused by underlying illness and congenital and hereditary conditions. But surprisingly, a main cause of chronic kidney failure in dogs is dental disease. Bacteria associated with advanced dental disease enter the blood stream and invades multiple organs, causing irreversible damage to the heart, liver and kidneys.
